ABOUT
Wasted looks like somebody handed a slot machine to the last surviving mechanic after the apocalypse and told him to rebuild it using chainsaws, radioactive barrels, scrap metal, and whatever was left of civilization. Terminal Games drops players into a scorched wasteland populated by gas masks, mutant raiders, wrecked vehicles, and enough glowing green sludge to make workplace safety regulations feel like a distant memory.
A hulking mutant stands beside the reels like the world's least reassuring casino host, while flames, smoke, ruined buildings, and radioactive pools complete the end-of-the-world atmosphere. Even the symbols look salvaged from a scrapyard, with bear traps, chainsaws, gas masks, toxic barrels, and battered card ranks all bolted into rusty metal frames.
The whole thing is loud, grimy, and deliberately overcooked, giving Wasted plenty of personality before its more explosive mechanics even enter the picture. There is serious value buried under all that radioactive scrap too, with a maximum win of 50,000x the stake waiting at the top end.

Betting Options and Bonus Features
Wasted plays across a 5x5 setup with 19 fixed paylines, with wins formed by landing 3 or more matching symbols from left to right. It combines a 96.7% RTP with high volatility, a wide betting range, and a 50,000x maximum win across its different game modes.
The main engine behind the action is the Multiplier Wild, which substitutes for every regular symbol apart from the Bonus symbol. These Wilds can arrive as 1x1, 2x2, or 3x3 symbols, meaning a single appearance can potentially cover a fairly substantial chunk of the grid.
Things get considerably more interesting once the Rockets start flying because explosions can clear symbols and uncover additional Multiplier Wilds underneath them. Red Rockets create larger blasts and can launch further Rockets, while the Green and Red versions also interact directly with any Multiplier Wilds they strike.
A Green Rocket adds 5x to the multiplier of a Wild it hits, while a Red Rocket adds 10x instead. When several Multiplier Wilds contribute to the same winning payline, their values are added together first before the combined multiplier is applied to the win.
That interaction gives Wasted a straightforward escalation mechanic where a relatively ordinary Wild can suddenly become much more valuable after taking repeated Rocket hits. Larger Wilds naturally create even more targets for those explosions, particularly when they occupy several positions at once.

The main Bonus feature is triggered by landing at least 3 Bonus symbols, but Terminal Games turns the usual Scatter system into a three-tier setup:
- The regular Bonus (3 bonus symbols): gives players 8 spins featuring both Rockets and Multiplier Wilds, serving as the standard version of Wasted's main mechanic. It establishes the basic combination of explosions and multiplier building without giving the Wilds any extra persistence.
- The Super Bonus (4 bonus symbols): in this version Multiplier Wilds become sticky and remain on the reels between spins. That creates much more potential to gradually fill the board with Wild coverage while subsequent Rockets continue increasing their multipliers.
- The Epic Bonus (5 bonus symbols): keeps those sticky Multiplier Wilds but makes another important change by removing Green Rockets entirely. Only Red Rockets can appear, which means every direct multiplier increase is worth +10x, while their larger blasts and ability to trigger additional Rockets remain intact.
Each of these versions begins with 8 spins, and landing another Bonus symbol during any of these features adds one extra spin, so the round can extend beyond its original length. Rockets remain active throughout and can continue clearing positions, revealing Multiplier Wilds, and increasing their values.
Bonus Buy Options
Terminal Games also gives players 5 optional modes, ranging from a relatively simple Ante Bet option to several expensive ways of forcing more volatile situations. That gives Wasted quite a bit of flexibility depending on whether you want to slightly increase bonus frequency or skip directly toward its most explosive mechanics.
Mode | Cost | Effect |
Ante Bet | 3x the stake | Increases the chance of entering a Bonus game |
Bonus | 100x the stake | Starts 8 Bonus spins with Rockets and Multiplier Wilds |
Super | 300x the stake | Starts 8 Super Bonus spins with sticky Multiplier Wilds |
Override | 1,000x the stake | Guarantees a central 3x3 Multiplier Wild with possible Rockets |
Mystery | 500x the stake | Random chance of Epic, Super, Bonus, or no feature |
The Override mode is easily the strangest option because it does not simply purchase one of the normal bonus rounds. Instead, it guarantees a huge 3x3 Multiplier Wild in the center of the grid, with Rockets potentially joining the spin and increasing its value further.
Mystery takes the opposite approach and leaves almost everything to chance, with a 10% shot at Epic, 25% at Super, 25% at the regular Bonus, and 40% at receiving no bonus at all. That makes it the pure gamble among Wasted's optional modes, especially compared with the much more predictable Bonus and Super purchases.

Roshtein’s Take
What sells me on Wasted is that it actually commits to the chaos instead of just dressing a normal slot in radioactive barrels and calling it a day. The Rocket hits on those giant Multiplier Wilds are exactly the kind of mechanic I can get behind, because once a 2x2 or 3x3 Wild starts getting peppered by Red Rockets, the whole grid suddenly feels dangerous.
I’d probably spend most of my time hunting the Super and Epic Bonuses, where the sticky Wilds give you that “one more good hit and this could go stupid” feeling. I also have a soft spot for the completely unhinged Override mode, even if 1,000x is a serious price tag. Wasted is dirty, loud, slightly ridiculous, and with 50,000x on the table, that feels like exactly what it should be.
