- ☀️ Choose between Ra and Osiris, with different volatility and bonus profiles
- ⚔️ Expanding Wild multipliers can reach 1,000x
- 🏺 Walking Wilds and respins headline the six-spin bonus round
Pragmatic Play is going back to war with the gods. Ra vs Osiris, launching on September 3, 2026, takes the gods' rivalry concept and transports it from Ancient Greece to Egypt, with a huge max win of 25,000x the bet. This time, the sun god Ra faces Osiris, ruler of the underworld, with players choosing which side of the conflict they want to enter.
It is more than a cosmetic decision. Ra and Osiris use different volatility profiles and deliver their bonuses differently, giving players a genuine reason to switch sides rather than simply picking their favourite Egyptian deity.
Ra vs Osiris - Pick Your God
Ra vs Osiris uses a 5x5 grid with 15 paylines, with Ra and Osiris modes available from the opening screen. The RTP changes slightly between the two, sitting at 96.53% for Ra and 96.54% for Osiris at the highest settings.
Ra is the slightly calmer option. It carries high volatility, triggers Free Spins more frequently and produces a lower average bonus win. Osiris pushes the mathematics into very high volatility, reversing that relationship with less frequent bonuses but a higher average return when they do arrive.

Visually, Pragmatic Play has made sure the choice feels suitably dramatic. Ra drenches the Egyptian setting in red, while Osiris turns everything green. Pyramids, enormous obelisks and plenty of divine theatrics provide the backdrop.
Expanding Wilds Start the Fight
The central feature is the VS Expanding Wild. These special Wilds can appear on any reel. When an expanding one would create a win, it covers the entire reel before Ra and Osiris battle to determine the multiplier attached to it.
Those multipliers can range from 2x to 1,000x. More importantly, landing multiple multiplier Wilds in the same winning combination does not simply leave you with the biggest number. Their values are added together.
And unlike many themed mechanics that could be dropped into practically any slot, the VS system actually makes sense here. Every multiplier becomes another miniature battle between the two gods.
Six Free Spins And An Egyptian Gamble
Three or more Scatters trigger six Free Spins, but the number of Scatters determines how powerful the bonus is from the beginning. Three start the minimum Wild multiplier at 2x, four lift it to 4x, and five raise it to 8x.
Players can then gamble before entering the bonus, attempting to push that minimum multiplier as high as 100x. There is a fairly brutal catch: lose the gamble and the entire Free Spins round disappears. Once inside the feature, the Expanding Wilds learn how to walk.
Whenever one appears, it becomes a Walking Wild, moving one reel to the left during respins until eventually leaving the grid. If several Walking Wilds are active simultaneously, the respins continue until all of them have made their way off the screen.

It changes the rhythm considerably from the original Zeus vs Hades formula. Rather than simply hoping powerful Wilds arrive and stay put, Ra vs Osiris has them travelling across the grid while additional Wilds can potentially join the procession.
Scatters remain important once Free Spins are underway. Another three, four or five Scatters award six additional spins and increase the minimum multiplier by one, two or three levels respectively. Keep retriggering and that minimum can eventually rise all the way to 1,000x.
Where Bonus Buys are available, the Ra and Osiris divide continues. Ra offers standard Free Spins for 100x, while a stronger Super Free Spins option costs 250x and starts Walking Wild multipliers at a minimum of 8x.
Osiris doubles those prices. The same idea applies to the game's enhanced Super Spins. Ra offers three increasingly expensive levels, while choosing Osiris doubles the cost of each. So the Osiris button isn't just a switch marked "more volatile." It carries that philosophy throughout the entire game.
Gods Of War, Egyptian Edition
Zeus vs Hades: Gods of War became one of Pragmatic Play's standout releases. Ra vs Osiris clearly inherits its two-god structure but doesn't simply repaint the original with pyramids.

Walking Wilds, respins and multipliers reaching 1,000x give the Egyptian sequel its own identity, while the 25,000x maximum win raises the ceiling considerably. The result is familiar enough to immediately make sense to Zeus vs Hades players but different enough to justify another fight.
Ra brings the sun. Osiris brings the underworld. Pragmatic Play has brought the boxing gloves.
